Rayen McLeod is an experienced therapist providing couples treatment, adult and adolescent individual therapy.  She also provides parent assistance and family counselling.  She has excellent skills to help you with relationship and personal challenges, offering you strategies and tools to improve your home, work, and social life.  Your mental health matters to Ms. McLeod and she has an experienced skill set to empower and assist you.

She works eclectically and holistically drawing from many therapy models based on empirical research. For couples, Emotion Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Integrative Behavioral Couples Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, as well as Relational Cultural Therapy and Narrative Therapy each have their strengths and can be co-authored choices with the preferences of the couple.

Ms. McLeod believes in addressing the whole person, recognizing that mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are interconnected. Her therapeutic approach emphasizes collaboration and empowerment, and in individual therapy she is guiding clients to explore their strengths and navigate challenges with resilience. In addition to all forms of CBT, she integrates narrative therapy, mindfulness, and humanistic approaches with somatic, and existential therapies.  The goal with her strength-based philosophy is to avoid judgement and  prioritizes creating an inclusive and affirming atmosphere where people feel heard, understood, validated, and they are empowered to explore their options, fullfill their growth goals, and celebrate and flourish.
